5:10PM Porterville Police responded to a report of a theft in progress at Tractor Supply, 1700 block of W. Henderson. The suspect was seen leaving the store on foot with a chainsaw, and BB gun, along with miscellaneous merchandise. Officers were able to catch the suspect in the area of Pasty, and N. Terry. The suspect was arrested, and transported to South County Detention Facility. The merchandise was recovered and returned to Tractor Supply. | Porterville Stringer
